Digital Potentials Workshop.
My theme for this workshop was matches and how they change shape, texture and colour when burned. I looked into these gradual changes and developed my idea with the aid of traditional print processes and then CAD applications, Adobe Photoshop in this case.
These are my initial ideas, drawings and developments with CAD.

Multimedia workshop.
During my first year of my degree we had a multimedia workshop. the aim of this workshop was to explore our previous textiles drawings and samples but to approach them in a new and different way. This consisted of looking into 3D approaches and also using projection as a way of adding colour and texture to our wok.
My time at this workshop made me change my flat graphic drawings into a concept of 3D growth and expansion. I was interested in the way deterioration grew and spread. I wanted to maintain the graphic tone of my previous work.

Preliminary experiments with my images with print processes, mainly screen printing. Explored into layering and placement of colour and also contrast of colour. As my images were very graphic and line based I layered the images a lot to create texture.

A selection of work, mainly visual research and drawings, from my first year of my Textiles design degree.
This project was based on deterioration of surfaces. I focused on the shapes and different textures within a restricted areas and tried to put this chaotic information in an ordered fashion. These drawings explore this theory, this was my starting point for my print based workshop.
